ASTM A500 Round ERW CS Pipe

A500 Structural Round Tube is a U.S. specification steel tube designed for use in boilers and superheaters. It requires a flattening test. For A500 welded structural round tubes, a specimen at least 4 inches (100 mm) long must be cold flattened in three steps between parallel plates, with the weld oriented at 90 degree to the direction of the force.
